“Either it’s a standing ovation or she leaves people smouldering. You will love her or loathe
her audacity. But you won’t be left indifferent and you won’t be able to take your eyes off her
the entire time she insists why she is right and you wrong.”

Why would you be a gender if you could be an airbender? In her powerful and captivating talk, Aradhana Khowala takes you into a time machine, all the way back to the Ancient Egyptians and the goddesses of India, where she brings you on a journey to discover the true origin of woman power. Though her talk revolves around equality of opportunity and woman power, she emphasises that the journey to such equality is not linear, and that the key is to work together to ensure that neither men nor women are left behind: “progress on gender parity doesn’t have to be a linear progression. Why can’t it be a tangential arc that still contributes towards the geometry of societal design?"

We are in Trouble

Opening and closing speeches at the Blue Ocean Economy Forum

Malta Tourism Foundation & Bodrum Municipality 2022

Is the problem of global warming and rising sea levels still an abstract concept for the most intelligent species that ever existed on Earth, the Humankind? Yet, out of all the 17 Global Sustainable Development Goals, #SDG14 Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas, and marine resources have received the lowest investment. None of the sub-targets have been met. The oceans continue to be a dumping ground for anything and everything, including oil from shipping and land-based sources; toxins from industry and agriculture; sediments from mining, forestry and farming; sewage and plastic litter; and even radioactive isotopes.

Femtech & Wellness
Busting taboos and making billions

Keynote Speech at the Global Wellness Summit, Israel 2022

As you sit right now, you are already losing money. Simply because we have collectively ignored women’s health problems and bought into the social stigma in one of the most women-driven industries- wellness. If we do not act collectively and go bold and push for change, we all risk becoming obsolete. This is why I am challenging you today to say  YES to holistic women's health and integrating femtech solutions in wellness centers. More than USD 2.5 billion - that is how much funding the world’s FemTech companies received in 2021. Until 2020 the global femtech market size accounted for a modest $40.2 billion. An estimate suggests it will reach $75 billion to $1 trillion by 2027. In less than 10 years the market is expected to double if not triple.
